  • Everything was perfect. We hired Chris as our officiant and dj. We had attended a wedding where he dj'd and everyone was on the dance floor the whole time. That's what we wanted. We found out that he also officiates weddings, and that's where we were hooked. One vendor for two services, yes please!! Planning was easy with Chris, and day-of was an absolute blast! He made the message to us in our ceremony all about us, and it was a beautiful surprise. We loved it and got so many compliments on the ceremony. The dance was fantastic! The dance floor was packed all night, and we couldn't be happier. We loved Chris, and would recommend him to anyone looking for a dj and/or officiant.

We felt ready for the rehersal and ceremony after our final meeting with him a week before. He coached us through the rehersal as well as the ceremony, and kept the dance floor full the whole night.

  • We hired Chris to officiate our wedding - at first I was nervous about how it would go but he took the time to get to know us and put together a wonderful ceremony that was very "us". He really helped to make our ceremony special but also got some big laughs from our guests. He handled the unexpected moments expertly (when my dad gave me a hug and his glasses got stuck in my updo for example). I highly recommend him -- even my own mother asked me afterwards where we knew Chris from because he delivered the ceremony as if he knew us. Thanks Chris!!

  • We hired Chris to both officiate and DJ at our wedding and we couldn't have been more pleased! He was absolutely wonderful to work with. Initially we didn't have a very clear vision of how we wanted our ceremony to go and he did a great job of walking us through some options and, after sitting down and getting to know us, made some great suggestions on how we could make the ceremony our own. Our ceremony was so personal and thoughtful. We loved every second of it and we received so many compliments from guests about how much they enjoyed it too! He did a fantastic job keeping things moving throughout the cocktail hour and reception and our dance floor was overflowing the ENTIRE night. We'd recommend Chris to anyone looking in the Madison area. He was such an integral part of our day and we couldn't have imagined it going any better!

  • Dave was the officiant for our June wedding. He was an absolute professional and we received so many compliments on the ceremony and the delivery of the sermon. We were able to customize the ceremony yo be exactly what we wanted. Dave was easy to contact and responded quickly to all questions we had. He was prompt for both the rehearsal and wedding day. Dave was able to direct our inexperienced wedding party to make it a flawless endeavor that we will remember forever. If we had to pick another officiant, we wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

  • Great DJ service! We hired Chris to emcee our dinner & speeches and to DJ our dance. He did an AMAZING job. Played the perfect combination of music that kept people dancing all night and got different people up off their chairs. Excellent at announcing seating for dinner, our grand march, cake cutting, and leading into the speeches later on. What really solidified his service as top-notch in my book was his ability to ad-lib and keep things flowing on the fly. For example, someone dropped a wine glass on the dance floor and sent glass flying everywhere. An easy way to end the dancing mood and give guests an unfortunate cue to leave, but Chris got on the mic, evacuated the dance floor while it was quickly swept up and played a song to keep the crowd singing and engaged—all without missing a beat.

  • Chris did an amazing job DJing for us. He was always willing to get together if things came up in preparation, quick to respond, and accommodating. There was never a "no I can't do that" when prepping with him, he made everything happen. In terms of the wedding day, pure perfection. No awkward silences, no awkward anything and the music selection was tailored perfectly to us including an impromptu Disney song that really blew us away. I would highly recommend You Had me at I Do for any of your DJ or officiant needs and they will take care of you!!

  • We loved having Chris as our DJ at our wedding in August 2017! It was an amazing day, and Chris was so easy to work with to make the day run smoothly and listened to all our crazy requests! We loved the online music request system, that really helped us customize our day! He was excellent! Would would definitely recommend him!

He also got the party moving and kept everything going on time during the reception, making our dances and other events occur just the way we wanted them to.   • I can't tell you how many people told me how much they enjoyed our DJ. Chris was amazing! He was involved without being overbearing, and he was great at getting people involved (or at least trying, bless him).

    Every song we wanted to be played was played at some point during the night, and none of the songs we didn't want played came up (I'm not the type of girl who wanted to do the chicken dance, you know?).

    He was great about checking in with us to make sure the night went as smoothly as possible, and he helped make the night so much fun.

  • Chris was both the DJ and the officiant for our wedding. Prior to the wedding, he met with us by phone as often as I requested and was responsive to all my questions. Chris arrived at our rehearsal on time, and was extremely professional. He walked us through exactly what we could expect for our wedding ceremony and was very organized. He knew our ceremony by heart. Our wedding was outside, and on the day of the wedding, we had a rain scare. But, he handled it extremely well and the ceremony was flawless. We received many compliments on how well he officiated. As a DJ, he introduced us correctly, played many of our requests (we had a lot), took requests, and was able to draw people back to the dance floor when there was a lull. Everyone had a great time.

  • Planning was easy with his online portal! He was helpful the day of, worked well with my photographers, and played a lot of the requests that guests and I made. The dance floor was packed all night! We had Bucky surprise everyone during the dance, and he helped coordinate this and played a set of UW songs. He provided uplighting and microphones for speeches, and other than making a few announcements that we needed he let the music do the talking. Highly recommend!

The ceremony was thoughtful and funny, and he read the crowd well throughout the night- people were dancing all night long. We received a lot of compliments from guests on the ceremony, they all commented that it was heartfelt and memorable. He gave us a ceremony to remember, and the party vibe we wanted the rest of the day. His planning tools were great as well, we could easily pick & assign songs for everything across the day & choose what things we wanted to happen during the reception.

It was so easy to have all of our favorites played (or to request songs not be played). Our first dance was unconventional but he found the exact song.   • This is one of the BEST decisions you will make for your wedding day. Having Chris as both our officiant and DJ was tops. MANY, MANY people have commented how wonderful our day was in part thanks to Chris and how he officiated our ceremony, announced grand march/ dinner/ events during reception, played music during our reception, and more (including trivia we had during time between the ceremony and dinner during a longer cocktail hour). A number of people even asked if he was a family friend because of how well the day went along with his humor, wit, and overall keeping the flow of the day going. The ability for guests to request songs ahead of time as well him setting up a song request site for you to add to if you choose is simple and easy to use. When you choose to book him, if you feel communication is not what you expect, just text. My email sent some responses from Chris to my spam. When we texted Chris he was prompt on responding. (Note this was the case for one other vendor as well). Keep that in mind when communicating with ANY vendor when planning your wedding. The best vendors, like Chris, want you to have the most wonderful day possible.
