What are your requirements for the ceremony content?

Some officiants, especially those affiliated with major churches, have required inclusions and exclusions. At You Had Me At I Do there is nothing we must include and nothing we cannot include — the ceremony is completely up to you.

How do you customize ceremonies?

Any way you would like. We start with a standard ceremony and tweak, add, edit, or replace it until it fits. Couples have also written their own ceremonies for us to use.

Can we see some of the ceremonies you've done in the past?

Yes. We share past ceremonies so you can see how each one was customized — traditional, contemporary, religious, non-religious, fun, or formal.

When will you do the rehearsal?

Most couples rehearse the day before. We schedule the rehearsal when it is convenient for you rather than limiting you to wedding-day-only times.

What extras are available?

The only extra we charge is travel outside our regular service area. Pre-wedding consultations, customizing the ceremony, and the rehearsal are not nickel-and-dime add-ons.

We complete the officiant section and explain the return process. The couple remains responsible for obtaining a valid license.

How long is the ceremony?

Simple ceremonies are often 5–10 minutes. Personalized ceremonies are commonly 15–25 minutes.

Can it be religious?

Yes. Religious, spiritual, secular, traditional, and blended ceremonies are all available.

What happens after I inquire?

We review the date and location, confirm availability, and send the best-fit option and current price.
