My couple this weekend had a unique alternative to the dollar dance. They held a 50/50 raffle where the winner got 1/2 the pot and the bride and groom kept the rest for the honeymoon. What a great idea!
Dollar dances can be painfully long and very awkward as you wait for everyone to have their turn. A 50/50 raffle, on the other hand, is easy to do and gets many more people involved with the potential of getting a pretty nice wedding favor.
