Our Story

You Had Me At I Do is staffed by a specialized team of expert Officiants as well as expert wedding DJs. We've brought together the very best of the best wedding professionals and put them on one team, ensuring our clients have nothing less than the best.

We've been providing excellence in entertainment in southern Wisconsin since the turn of the century.  Our years in the business have given us the knowledge, skills, and experience to ensure that your event is THE event everyone will be talking about.  Whether it is a wedding ceremony, reception, corporate event, or private party, you'll be able to relax and enjoy yourself, knowing that the success of your event is in the hands of experts.  In 2022, we expanded to the Gulf Coast of Florida.

Our clients can choose to have just our Officiant services, just our DJ services, or hire us for both. Those that choose us for both enjoy having just one company and one point of contact for their ceremony and reception. They also enjoy having our entire team of professional Officiants and DJ at their disposal!

Our team approach is unique in the wedding industry and gives our clients a 'one stop shop' for the ceremony and reception. Forget having to try to get your DJ and Officiant on the same page! Here at You Had Me At I Do, we wrote the page together!

While we are generally booked one to two years in advance with weddings from May to October, we do love entertaining at holiday parties and other events during the wedding off season!  You get the same expert entertainment that our couples get for their weddings.

And yes, our name is ABSOLUTELY a reference to that famous line from Jerry Maguire - who didn't fall in love with that magical movie moment? That's what everyone's wedding should be about! No matter what happens during the ceremony and no matter what happens during the reception, only that magical moment matters - you truly had each other at 'I Do'.
