We completely understand that sometimes, the best officiant is not us [gasp], but rather a close friend or family member.  The ability to get ordained online for free means it's now possible to have virtually anyone ordained as a 'religious leader' (the only legal wedding officiant qualification) and perform a wedding ceremony.  Even though we aren't performing the ceremony ourselves, we still want to make sure the ceremony is absolutely incredible.  That's why we created the Officiant Academy - to answer the big question: how do I perform a wedding ceremony?

There's a lot more that goes into performing a wedding than just reading a script - WAY more.  We'd love to bring you up to speed on the basics so you can absolutely knock it out of the park!  Being an officiant doesn't take a rocket scientist, but it does take someone who understands a little about public speaking and performing a wedding ceremony.  Our owner, with over 20 years of experience and a five-star rating on all of the major sites, will fill you in on the basics, helping you deliver your own version of a five-star rated ceremony.
